used to be a flagpole here, constructed in March '98 by
a group from the San Diego area, complete with solar powered
light and memorial plaque to a Brawley, Calif. teenager who
died while snowboarding, it was explained (by the group that
the constructed the flagpole) that the plaque was placed to
possibly deter vandalism. It was demolished and removed
